Deck Foreman

Our client is Dutch based has jack up barge operation in Indonesia (Java-Sea).

We are currently looking for an experienced Deck Foreman.

Tasks

• Responsible for supervising Deck Crew and liaise between deck crew and Barge Master
• Responsible for ensuring the weather and watertight integrity of the unit: control of decks, cargo spaces and storerooms
• Day to day maintenance of deck machinery, paintwork and planned maintenance
• In charge and assist during deck, handling, mooring, anchoring and towing operations
• Maintain rigging & lifting equipment log sheets, recording schedule and unscheduled maintenance on deck machinery
• Maintain inventory of stores and inform Barge Master accordingly

Qualifications & training

• Rounded secondary training in maritime
• Proven work experience (minimum 3-4 years) in similar position in Jack-up, Offshore or maritime industry
• Reporting and writing skills
• Stress resistant and hands-on mentality
• Sound knowledge of English language
• BOSIET, HUET are required

Conditions

• Boarding schedule: 6 Weeks on, 2 Weeks off
• Salary : $ 45 per day
• Long term project 2 > years
