Over the last 8 years, PT. ISB Engineering has been enhancing the capabilities of carrying out Conceptual and detail engineering for the Design and the Installation of Floating Systems such as FPSO, FSO, SPM, Mooring and Flexible Pipelines.

 

With an established engineering office at Jakarta, we seek qualified and individuals to come and join us.

 

Following discipline are required for projects in Indonesia and overseas.

 

 

Mechanical Rotating Engineer

 

Requirements:

• Mechanical/Rotating Equipment Engineer will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 10 years knowledge and experience at a senior level in Maintenance Engineering
• In depth Knowledge of Reciprocating and Centrifugal compressors and pumps, gas engines, motors and turbines
• Knowledge in oilfield practices and experience in mechanical Engineering
• Experience with preventative and predictive techniques to improve the equipment surveillance programme.
• Strong computer skills especially with MS products.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Effective communication skills with ability to communicate internally and externally with all levels of the organization
• Strongly motivated individual who works independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in a team based environment and lead teams to a common goal.
• Good written/spoken English with excellent computer skills
• Supervisory, presentation and ability to develop staff.
• Knowledge transfer
• Good man management, interpersonal, communications and organizational skills are essential.

 

Job description:

• Improve the safety, reliability and efficiency of plant rotating equipment through the application of engineering expertise in providing low cost solutions to maintenance problems.
• Champion reliability of rotating equipment in assigned areas by promoting training, presentations and other activities to keep awareness high.
• Use vibration monitoring and associated techniques to troubleshoot and predict impending failures of rotating equipment in order to avoid secondary damage and establish guidelines for and monitor the performance of the preventative maintenance programmes
• Provide technical support to the maintenance and operations department, to increase rotating equipment availability and reduce maintenance costs.
• Complete failure analysis of rotating equipment systems to determine root cause for failures and recommend improvements to eliminate future failures.
• Improve the safety, reliability and efficiency of plant rotating equipment through the application of engineering expertise in providing low cost solutions to maintenance problems.
• Champion reliability of rotating equipment in assigned areas by promoting training, presentations and other activities to keep awareness high.
• Use vibration monitoring and associated techniques to troubleshoot and predict impending failures of rotating equipment in order to avoid secondary damage.
• Establish guidelines for and monitor the performance of the preventative maintenance programmes
• Evaluate condition of rotating equipment to predict life and adjust maintenance intervals to suit.
• Administer a computerized CMMS system for rotating equipment and ancillary components
