Senior G&G Consultants are needed for International Subsurface Consulting Project.
Job Mission:
The candidate is expected to successfully provide geoscientific and leading-edge IT/applications consulting solutions and advice to our E&P client and be an ambassador to the company.
Responsibilities:
• Provide expertise in geosciences.
• Provide/demonstrate/present leading-edge technology and consulting solutions to the International market.
Requirements:
• B.Sc. in Earth Sciences and equivalent field of Geophysics or Geology. M.Sc. in Earth Sciences is preferable.
• 8-10 years experience in industry with minimum 5+ years as an interpreter.
• Considered a superior technical resource.
• Strong understanding of applicable science and technology and client business and operational processes within a domain/technical set.
• Qualified to work on any 3rd party environment (Schlumberger and Landmark) particularly with Petrel software.
• Understand industry workflows and is able to identify significant economic benefits in applying the integrated approach.
• Consultant shall work through an Earth Science workflow; review and check existing data and interpretations, validity and/or update interpretations as necessary.
• Provide expertise and assist in the development of the final G&G Model to ensure the objectives of the earth science project are met.
• Understand subsurface data management (well, seismic and wireline) is a plus.
• Previous experience in a consulting company preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation skills and outgoing personality.
Desired Skills:
• Demonstrate latest technology and/or smarter ways of working as a Geophysicist or Geologist.
• Work as a whole to evaluate the existing stratigraphic, seismic and formation evaluation studies and perform work listed in the workflow.
• 2D & 3D seismic interpretation of faults and horizons, depth conversion and QC & Evaluation interpretation process.
• Generation of accurate well to seismic ties, generation of appropriate velocity model and conversion of seismic horizons to depth.
• Structural and reservoir mapping knowledge as required.
