Our client is seeking for Contract Manager
Responsibilities:
Assisting the Resident Engineer for the project on site representing our client.
Contract document control for the works contract.
Maintaining a close track of the works records monitor the works schedules.
Function as Liaison officer between the contractor and the Engineer (Ensuring that instructions given to the Contractor are understood by the Contractor).
Assisting during the preparation of payment certificates.
Usual Resident Engineer duties on major international reclamation project.
Start date June 2011.
Project duration: 26 months
Other duties:
Carry out any duties which your line manager may reasonably request within the broad parameters of your role.
Min. Bachelor Degree (S1) in Civil Engineering from reputable universities.
Min. 5 years previous experience of supervising the construction of reclamation works or similar.
Good oral and written communication skills in English and Mandarin (Mandarin is a MUST).
Experience in working with native Chinese Contractors is preferred.
Previous experience of working with FIDIC based contracts would be an advantage.
Practical engineer with knowledge and experience in Coastal, Civil, Maritime Engineering & Construction.
Experience with Supervision of large infrastructural works.
Conversant with Indonesian Coastal, Maritime rules and regulations.
Independent thinker able to work competently within a team.
Personable and confident in relationships with colleagues and clients.
Willing to be placed in the project area in Kapuk Naga Indah - North Jakarta.
